I was looking through the internet tonight to try and find some personifications online, because I couldn't think of any. So there was a headline in capital letters that said "MIRROR" and I was like "huh? why is this here for 'personifications'?????"

so of course I let my curiosity get a hold of me and I clicked on it....

I found this poem talking about a mirror and how this poem demonstrates personification....

Well I wanted to see what the poem actually said so I read it through....

and you must be wondering why this was so important that I blogged about it,

WELL!!!

on the last line of the poem it says

"I am not cruel, only truthful"

and if you have ever been around when someone says...

"OH MY GOSH JESSI!! YOU ARE SO MEAN!!"

*cough cough* Jason!! *cough cough*

I just say right back to them

"I am not mean, I am just truthful!"

so when I read this poem and saw that line I was like "WOW!! I say that!"

so it made me feel a little special today seeing that in a poem I have never seen before.....

so thank you for reading this.....

and tell me what you think.....

by the way: the whole poem is online but that's all I saw in the personification thing...

and the end of that poem is a bit disturbing if it's supposed to be taken literallly...o_O

oh how long has it been??

Well, it has been quite a while since my last post....well lets see. for those of you who don't see me that often I will tell you what has been goin on.

Well colorguard is doing GREAT!! We have just finished with our rutine and now all we need to do is perfect it! For those of you who don't already know I am the captain of the flag line at my school and that is pretty tough. Considering i am a HUGE procrastinator, there are some things that need to be worked out a head of time and i don't like that at all!! Hehehe...

Well in other news my school grades are doing fine. I don't have any C's this quarter and I was really happy! :) In my english class, I am having a lot of fun! My teacher is awesome! But man, I CAN'T STAND (alex..) verbs!
enough about that though, my science class is BORING! its the least fun things out of my day! And my history class is also really fun! and my favorite period of the day: LUNCH!! way fun! in math I am continuing to progress and I was informed that i am going to geometry next year! (i should be in algebra for my grade level). In PE we are doing a fitness unit and it STINKS but my mile times are improving greatly so I am happy! And in spainish i have an A+!!! I was so happy! That is my first one EVER!!

Well lets see what else is there?? OH!! Guess how old I am turning on the 15th??................14!!! I know I couldn't believe it either...and another thing that is quite significant that is happening soon is highschool.....wow. This year has gone by so fast for me and highschool is only a few months away!
I am planning on going onto the yearbook committee as a photographer :) I also want to learn french so I am going to take that next year also. And Vanden Highschool's colorguard is just callin' my name!!! We have already tried out and I made flags! I can't wait for HIGHSCHOOL!!
