Color Guard is Starting!!!
Its that time of year again and I am so siked! I am so happy that its starting up again. This year I am gonna try out for Sabre (sword) but if i don't make that I will most likely be the captain of flag. For those of you that don't know what Colorguard is then it is when there are the people who march in front of the marching band and spin things such as I.D. (letters that spell out Mustangs), Flags, Sabres, and Riffles. I was on the team last year if you din't know and it was so much fun. Some people think that it is just fun and games but it isn't. This sport is very serious and requires a lot of hard work and dedication. At the same time though you can have so much fun! The people I spun with last year were like my sisters. I would spend my saturdays with them because those were the days that we had our extra practices, and we hung out at school and we laughed with each other got mad at each other it was really nice.Before you ask, the actual performance is in May/June so they wont be anytime soon, but yes anyone can come! The other thing is that they aren't anywhere near here they are all like in Vallejo, and in Alemeta. The only one that is in Vacaville is at Fiesta Days Parade so if you can't make the others than I would sugjust seeing that one! Well I hope you guys can make it to the performances! It would mean a lot to me!
Well the actual tri-outs for sabre is on tuesday and thursday so please pray that I don't mess up during those two days! Thank you!

I am glad you are doing color guard again this year Jessi. I want to come to some of your competitions this year, so keep me updated.

well duh alex of coarse i will make it! hehehe jk. but really i am at least deffinately in the flag line, but i really want to be on the sabre line!!! well thank you for the prayers but the final try-out for sabre is on thursday. i am so siked up for this years color guard!! well thank you for the prayers and on thursday i hope i make it!!!

no i didn't make it....BUT! the reson i didn't make it was because there are only two returning members for the flag line and they needed me to be on the flag line so that there would be at least one good person on that line. (the reson i say "one good person" is because the other returning member was always dropping the flag and wasn't that good and she wasn't very responsible so they need a good captain and that's me! so i was a little bummed out but they toold me that if there were more returning members, then i would of deffinately made sabres. i am happy just to be there and having fun so i guess i will see ya later!
Hate to say it (well i actually like to say it), but Ms. Sandie and my Grammy are right and they aren't knives.....They are swords. duhhhh. hehehe. well i love you guys and thanks for the support!
