
Cross Country....all I can say about it for right now is OWWWW!! My legs hurt soooo bad. My thighs are like throbbing after I run each day for four days a week!! The upside to this is that I get a gatorade everyday when my Mom or Mr. Rich picks me and alex up from school. JK, we're also getting mucle in our legs now. Me and Alex were in a store the other day after practice and we were comparing leg mucle. It was pretty funny. My coach is pretty nice but he is very brutal. He wants us to do a maximum of 25 miles a week! When he said that everybody except the returning people were shocked just by the words 25 MILES.
You know how there is alway one kid who THINKS he can beat anyone in racing well I have one on the cross country team. Before we started our mile on the first day he told practically everyone there that he was gonna beat them on the mile including me. So there are three major groups that run together. There are the really fast people, the average people, and the slows who are most likely walking the whole way. And guess who came in the third group....that guy! I'm an average runner so I came in the second group and I am fine with that. But he was practicly last! It was so funny!
Our first track meet is on September 26th, so I am kinda excited about that. Well, see ya!!!
